Rathinam Global Deemed-to-be University (RGU) has achieved significant rankings in the India Today Rankings 2026, with a number of its undergraduate programmes achieving national ranking in commerce, science, management, arts, computer applications, media and design. The new ranking underscores the performance of the university in various fields and its emerging prominence in the Indian higher education sector.
The university’s BCA program has achieved its rank 88th in India according to the India Today Rankings 2026. Bachelor of Commerce programme (B.Com) got the rank of 97th while Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programme got the rank of 95th. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A) program ranked 99th and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) ranked 92nd nationally.
In the list, Mass Communication bagged the 36th position and Fashion Design got the rank of 38th in India, thereby showing that these fields are creative and communication based.
The university, being referred to as ‘Rathinam Global Deemed-to-be University‘ under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, gives importance to NAAC A++ rating, which is indicative of their dedication in achieving excellence in education and institutional standards.
