Application Process

Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen program by thoroughly reviewing the requirements on our website or reaching out to the International Relations Office.
Complete the online application form available on the university website. Scholarship applicants and self-funded students (with a fee of USD 100) should fill out the form, while Study In India program applicants need to pay the prescribed health insurance charges.
Attach required documents to the application, including certified copies of marks/grade sheets, equivalent grade certificates, transfer/school leaving certificates, passport copy, proof of NRI status (if applicable), and a recent passport-size photograph.
After submitting the application, the University's academic council will verify documents. If eligible, a provisional admission letter with fee details will be issued, allowing students to apply for visas in their home countries.
Complete visa formalities, pay stipulated fees, and report to the University for final admission. Admission letters will be provided upon fulfilling requirements, and all international students must hold a valid student visa endorsed by the University.
Note: NRI/PIO students do not require a visa. International students are required to have a valid visa.
International students must register with the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival in India, excluding those from Nepal and Bhutan. The International Relations Department at Rathinam College will assist students in fulfilling the necessary processes for FRO/FRRO Registration.
Note: NRI/PIO students do not require a visa, and students from Nepal and Bhutan are exempt from FRRO registration. Ensure timely visa extensions if needed for the complete program duration.

- Students with foreign qualifications and degrees from universities abroad are required to produce an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi*
Please Note:
After verification of all the previous original marks cards and certificates, if they are found to be in order, then the competent authority of the University may confirm your admission.However, even after confirmation of the admission, if at a later date, any of the documents submitted are found to be false, fake, fabricated or fudged, the University will cancel the admission and forfeit the fee collected. RUAS also reserves the right to take any action as per University rules, including criminal proceedings as per law.
